A top price for Vittorio Cavalleri - as previously expected
The work La Folgore by Vittorio Cavalleri was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in December 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 26,650.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Folgore is the most expensive artwork by Vittorio Cavalleri that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit La Folgore von Vittorio Cavalleri kam im Dezember 2007 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 26.650,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist La Folgore das teuerste Kunstwerk von Vittorio Cavalleri, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
