Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work La famiglia del bersagliere by Vittorio Avondo was auctioned at Il Ponte in June 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vittorio Avondo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paesaggio Fluviale in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 26,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit La famiglia del bersagliere von Vittorio Avondo im Juni 2020 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vittorio Avondo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paesaggio Fluviale im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.950,00.
