A top price for Vincenzo Vela - as previously expected
The work Napoleon by Vincenzo Vela was auctioned at Christies in Sydney in May 2004. It changed hands for a price of AUD 11,950.00 (€ 6,982.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Napoleon is the most expensive artwork by Vincenzo Vela that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Napoleon von Vincenzo Vela kam im Mai 2004 bei Christies in Sydney zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von AUD 11.950,00 (€ 6.982,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
