Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Incontro Al Mercato by Vincenzo Migliaro was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in June 2001. It changed hands for a price of EUR 49,000.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincenzo Migliaro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Afternoon Siesta, which sold at auction in April 2002 for USD 130,500.00 (€ 144,967.78).
