Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Donna Su Fondo Rosso by Vincenzo Migliaro was auctioned at Christies in Rome in June 2001, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 4,900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vincenzo Migliaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Afternoon Siesta in April 2002 with an auction result of USD 130,500.00 (€ 144,967.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Donna Su Fondo Rosso von Vincenzo Migliaro im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Rom versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 4.900,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Migliaro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Afternoon Siesta im April 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 130.500,00 (€ 144.967,78).
