In the Modern Pictures auction, the work Il Luogo Comune sold for EUR 3,224.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincenzo Ferrari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cultura inutile solo una questione di sfumature, which sold at auction in November 2008 for EUR 6,500.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Vincenzo Ferrari erzielte im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Pictures wurde die Arbeit Il Luogo Comune für EUR 3.224,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Ferrari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cultura inutile solo una questione di sfumature beobachtet, die im November 2008 für EUR 6.500,00 versteigert wurde.
