In January 2005 Christies in New York held the auction Important Old Master PaintingsPart II, which included the work Portrait of a lady, said to be Vittoria della Rovere, half-length, in a blue and white dress, holding a sheet of music by Vincenzo Dandini. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,794.16), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Vincenzo Dandini; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Diana sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 24,031.54).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 13.794,16) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Vincenzo Dandini; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Diana im April 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 24.031,54).
