A top price for Vincenzo Dandini - as previously expected
The work Diana by Vincenzo Dandini was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings auction at Christies in London in April 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 24,031.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Diana is the most expensive artwork by Vincenzo Dandini that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Diana von Vincenzo Dandini wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 24.031,54) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Diana das teuerste Kunstwerk von Vincenzo Dandini, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
