Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Scorcio con paese sullo sfondo by Vincenzo Ciardo for EUR 1,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Vincenzo Ciardo have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2015 by the work Paesaggio at EUR 2,800.00.

Im April 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Scorcio con paese sullo sfondo von Vincenzo Ciardo für EUR 1.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 2.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Ciardo wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2015 die Arbeit Paesaggio mit EUR 2.800,00.
