Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A New Pair Of Shoes by Vincenzo Capobianchi was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in July 2019. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,096.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vincenzo Capobianchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chez le luthier in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 67,689.35).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.096,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
