Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2017 Christies in New York held the auction The Collection of Earl and Camilla McGrath, which included the work Water Towers by Vincenzo Amato. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,635.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincenzo Amato - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vincenzo Amato (B. 1966), which sold at auction in March 2017 for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,739.02).
