Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work A tall porcelain vase painted with oyster catchers by Vilhelm Theodor Fischer for DKK 2,300.00 (€ 308.66). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Vilhelm Theodor Fischer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horses on a field in December 2020 with an auction result of SEK 28,000.00 (€ 2,788.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A tall porcelain vase painted with oyster catchers von Vilhelm Theodor Fischer für DKK 2.300,00 (€ 308,66) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vilhelm Theodor Fischer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horses on a field im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 28.000,00 (€ 2.788,55).
