Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2002 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work A drummer by Vilhelm Rosenstand. The price achieved of GBP 105.75 (€ 163.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25.00 – 200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vilhelm Rosenstand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interior from an Italian kitchen, which sold at auction in September this year for DKK 3,400.00 (€ 455.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A drummer von Vilhelm Rosenstand zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 105,75 (€ 163,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25,00 – 200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Vilhelm Rosenstand mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Interior from an Italian kitchen beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für DKK 3.400,00 (€ 455,84) versteigert wurde.
