Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Still life, 1942 by Vilhelm Lundstrøm was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in November this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 2,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 500.00 (€ 67.06). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vilhelm Lundstrøm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing model in May 2021 with an auction result of SEK 2,550,000.00 (€ 251,779.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Still life, 1942 von Vilhelm Lundstrøm im November diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 2.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 500,00 (€ 67,06) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vilhelm Lundstrøm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Standing model im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 2.550.000,00 (€ 251.779,56).
