Auction result fails to reach estimate
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work A Danish patinated brass and green acrylic exit sign by Vilhelm Lauritzen for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 268.50). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 4,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vilhelm Lauritzen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christiansborg" in September this year with an auction result of DKK 21,000.00 (€ 2,815.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Danish patinated brass and green acrylic exit sign von Vilhelm Lauritzen für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 268,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vilhelm Lauritzen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christiansborg" im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 21.000,00 (€ 2.815,48).
