Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2024 Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work Danish summerscape with couple resting at the old oak by Vilhelm Kyhn. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 8,500.00 (€ 7,428.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Vilhelm Kyhn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Young Boy Seated On A Wall, Overlooking Capri in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 42,500.00 (€ 30,987.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2024 führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Danish summerscape with couple resting at the old oak von Vilhelm Kyhn zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 8.500,00 (€ 7.428,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vilhelm Kyhn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Young Boy Seated On A Wall, Overlooking Capri im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.500,00 (€ 30.987,97).
