Despite a disappointment, a good price for Viktor Schreckengost
In April 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Jazz Bowl by Viktor Schreckengost for USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,356.39). This price was achieved in the auction The New York Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Jazz Bowl is the most expensive artwork by Viktor Schreckengost that we have observed at auction so far.
