Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Vikenty Pavlovich Trofimov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2020. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Boat On A River sold for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,779.85) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vikenty Pavlovich Trofimov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kazakhs with a horse at a crossing in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 122,927.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vikenty Pavlovich Trofimov erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Boat On A River für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.779,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vikenty Pavlovich Trofimov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kazakhs with a horse at a crossing im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 97.250,00 (€ 122.927,26).
