Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Winter in the Austrian Alps by Victor Tikhonov was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2006. It changed hands for a price of GBP 288.00 (€ 422.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victor Tikhonov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter motive, which sold at auction in August 2005 for GBP 840.00 (€ 1,227.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Winter in the Austrian Alps von Victor Tikhonov kam im Januar 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 288,00 (€ 422,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Victor Tikhonov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter motive beobachtet, die im August 2005 für GBP 840,00 (€ 1.227,09) versteigert wurde.
