Sold at the lower estimate price
In October 2009 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included the work Grabado 1-4 by Victor Rodriguez. The result of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,016.60) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Rodriguez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bird/Red/White in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 31,200.00 (€ 23,076.92).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2009 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grabado 1-4 von Victor Rodriguez zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.016,60) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Rodriguez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bird/Red/White im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.200,00 (€ 23.076,92).
