Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Symphony by Victor Pasmore was auctioned at Christies in New York in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 72,341.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victor Pasmore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abstract in Indian Red, Crimson, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink and Orange, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 200,000.00 (€ 231,985.66).

Die Arbeit Blue Symphony von Victor Pasmore kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 72.341,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Victor Pasmore mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Abstract in Indian Red, Crimson, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink and Orange beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 200.000,00 (€ 231.985,66) versteigert wurde.
