In April 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Disegni e Incisioni di Antichi Maestri, which included the work Scena costiera by Victor-Jean Nicolle. The result of EUR 160.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 160.00 – 170.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor-Jean Nicolle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vue De La Colonnade De Saint-Pierre, Rome in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 52,000.00.

Im April 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Disegni e Incisioni di Antichi Maestri durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scena costiera von Victor-Jean Nicolle zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 160,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 160,00 – 170,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor-Jean Nicolle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vue De La Colonnade De Saint-Pierre, Rome im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.000,00.
