Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Intérieur d'une église avec une jeune femme priant by Victor-Jean Nicolle was auctioned at Artcurial in September this year. The price achieved of EUR 328.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor-Jean Nicolle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vue De La Colonnade De Saint-Pierre, Rome in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 52,000.00.

Die Arbeit Intérieur d'une église avec une jeune femme priant von Victor-Jean Nicolle kam im September diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 328,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 300,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor-Jean Nicolle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vue De La Colonnade De Saint-Pierre, Rome im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.000,00.
