Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Interior with a woman and a child by Victor Glysing Jensen was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 650.00 (€ 87.19). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victor Glysing Jensen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life with lemons and a plant at a table, which sold at auction in June this year for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Interior with a woman and a child von Victor Glysing Jensen im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 650,00 (€ 87,19) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Victor Glysing Jensen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still life with lemons and a plant at a table beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,37) versteigert wurde.
