In December 2014 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Relief No. 7; Relief No. 1 by Victor Anton. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,931.00), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Victor Anton have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2014 the work Black, White, Red 2 was auctioned for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,574.66).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Relief No. 7; Relief No. 1 von Victor Anton zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.931,00) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Victor Anton konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2014 die Arbeit Black, White, Red 2 für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.574,66) versteigert.
