Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Tulip by Vicente Viudes for USD 937.50 (€ 617.30). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vicente Viudes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hoopoe, which sold at auction in July 2011 for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,864.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tulip von Vicente Viudes für USD 937,50 (€ 617,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vicente Viudes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hoopoe beobachtet, die im Juli 2011 für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.864,93) versteigert wurde.
