Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2024 Bonhams in London held the auction Vintage Posters, which included the work Imperial Airways, Travel Luxuriously by Verney L. Danvers. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,816.00 (€ 4,713.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Verney L. Danvers have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work Underground, Theatres was auctioned for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,468.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2024 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Vintage Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Imperial Airways, Travel Luxuriously von Verney L. Danvers zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.816,00 (€ 4.713,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Verney L. Danvers konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2010 die Arbeit Underground, Theatres für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.468,74) versteigert.
