Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Portrait Of A Lady In A Blue Skirt by Vera Rockline. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 27,204.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vera Rockline achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Card Players in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,057,250.00 (€ 2,600,432.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady In A Blue Skirt von Vera Rockline zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 27.204,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vera Rockline erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Card Players im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.057.250,00 (€ 2.600.432,98).
