Sold at the lower estimate price
In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work La Terrasse De Café by Vera Rockline. The result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,552.54) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vera Rockline achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Card Players in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,057,250.00 (€ 2,600,432.98).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Terrasse De Café von Vera Rockline zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.552,54) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vera Rockline erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Card Players im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.057.250,00 (€ 2.600.432,98).
