Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude With Mirror by Vera Rockline was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 29,591.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vera Rockline achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Card Players in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,057,250.00 (€ 2,600,432.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nude With Mirror von Vera Rockline wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 29.591,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vera Rockline erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Card Players im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.057.250,00 (€ 2.600.432,98).
