Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shipwreck, Illustration For A Book By Daniil Kharms by Vera Mikhailovna Ermolaeva was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,522.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vera Mikhailovna Ermolaeva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suprematist Design For A Façade in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 262,000.00 (€ 296,104.65).
