A top price for Vera Efimova Pestel - as previously expected
The work In The Garden by Vera Efimova Pestel was sold in the Russian Art and Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 7,351.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, In The Garden is the most expensive artwork by Vera Efimova Pestel that we have observed at auctions so far.
