Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Girl On A Shore. by Venny Soldan-Brofeldt was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in December 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Venny Soldan-Brofeldt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Supper At A Finnish Farmhouse. in December 2010 with an auction result of EUR 40,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Girl On A Shore. von Venny Soldan-Brofeldt im Dezember 2018 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.000,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Venny Soldan-Brofeldt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Supper At A Finnish Farmhouse. im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.000,00.
