Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Vasily Sitnikov was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,200.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasily Sitnikov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Portrait With Crows By The Kremlin in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 157,390.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Vasily Sitnikov kam im Mai 2021 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.200,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasily Sitnikov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-Portrait With Crows By The Kremlin im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 110.500,00 (€ 157.390,84).
