Despite a disappointment, a good price for Vasily Ivanovich Grigoriev
In November 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work The Moscow Kremlin by Vasily Ivanovich Grigoriev for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,374.39). This price was achieved in the auction Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, The Moscow Kremlin is the most expensive artwork by Vasily Ivanovich Grigoriev that we have observed at auction so far.
