Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included this untitled work by Vasili Nikolaevich Chekrygin. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,270.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vasili Nikolaevich Chekrygin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Illustration From The Resurrection Cycle in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,598.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Vasili Nikolaevich Chekrygin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.270,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vasili Nikolaevich Chekrygin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Illustration From The Resurrection Cycle im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.598,03).
