In October this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Böttiger Collection H067, which included the work "Moths" by Vanna Bowles. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,270.34), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Vanna Bowles have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Cultivation" in November 2014 with an auction result of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 7,547.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Böttiger Collection H067 durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Moths" von Vanna Bowles zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.270,34) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vanna Bowles auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Cultivation" im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 70.000,00 (€ 7.547,03).
