Despite a disappointment, a good price for Valery Bashenin

This work of art by Valery Bashenin could be acquired at Sothebys in London in February 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Russian Art auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,538.99) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Valery Bashenin that we have observed at auction so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Valery Bashenin konnte im Februar 2007 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
