Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Accanto Al Focolare by Valerio Laccetti was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in June 2001. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,430.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Valerio Laccetti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abbeverata presso l'antico acquedotto, which sold at auction in May 2002 for EUR 12,400.00.

Die Arbeit Accanto Al Focolare von Valerio Laccetti wurde im Juni 2001 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.430,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Valerio Laccetti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Abbeverata presso l'antico acquedotto beobachtet, die im Mai 2002 für EUR 12.400,00 versteigert wurde.
