Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Formed Extensions by Valerie Snobeck for USD 625.00 (€ 552.22). This price was achieved in the auction Image World | Contemporary Art from a Private American Collection at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valerie Snobeck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Formed Cords in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,209.36).

Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Formed Extensions von Valerie Snobeck für USD 625,00 (€ 552,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Image World | Contemporary Art from a Private American Collection bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valerie Snobeck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Formed Cords im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.209,36).
