A top price for Valerie Hinz - as previously expected
In December 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art Online, which included the work Rodeo, Eight Seconds Later by Valerie Hinz. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 901.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Rodeo, Eight Seconds Later is the most expensive artwork by Valerie Hinz that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rodeo, Eight Seconds Later von Valerie Hinz zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.020,00 (€ 901,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Rodeo, Eight Seconds Later das teuerste Kunstwerk von Valerie Hinz, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
