Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study of A Head by Vladimir Alexandrovich Serov was sold in the Important Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in November 2006. The price achieved of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,820.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vladimir Alexandrovich Serov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Study For 'October, Domotkanovo', which sold at auction in April 2006 for USD 72,000.00 (€ 57,034.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Study of A Head von Vladimir Alexandrovich Serov wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Important Russian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.820,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Alexandrovich Serov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Study For 'October, Domotkanovo' beobachtet, die im April 2006 für USD 72.000,00 (€ 57.034,22) versteigert wurde.
