Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective, which included the work Yalta by Vakhtang Advadze. The price achieved of GBP 2,268.00 (€ 2,662.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vakhtang Advadze - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rooftops, which sold at auction in November 2020 for GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,032.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yalta von Vakhtang Advadze zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.268,00 (€ 2.662,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Vakhtang Advadze mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rooftops beobachtet, die im November 2020 für GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.032,93) versteigert wurde.
