Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Uwe Henneken achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2018. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Tiptoe Into Twilight sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,965.32) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Uwe Henneken; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot "Sein - Fleisch - fühlt - sich - wie - Eisen - an - Vanguard" sold at auction in May 2019 with the realized price of EUR 19,350.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Uwe Henneken erzielte im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Tiptoe Into Twilight für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.965,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Uwe Henneken; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit "Sein - Fleisch - fühlt - sich - wie - Eisen - an - Vanguard" im Mai 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 19.350,00.
