Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Ciociara by Umberto Dell'Orto for EUR 2,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction XIXth Century Paintings and Sculptures at Sothebys in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Umberto Dell'Orto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alla Fiera Di Gravedona in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 23,550.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ciociara von Umberto Dell'Orto für EUR 2.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion XIXth Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Sothebys in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Umberto Dell'Orto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alla Fiera Di Gravedona im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.550,00.
