Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Ulrik Samuelson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,133.93). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ulrik Samuelson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2016 for SEK 160,000.00 (€ 17,228.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ulrik Samuelson im Oktober 2017 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 50.000,00 (€ 5.133,93) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ulrik Samuelson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für SEK 160.000,00 (€ 17.228,56) versteigert wurde.
