A top price for Uji Handoko
In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Different World/Different Way by Uji Handoko. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,057.44), 48% above the upper estimate. With this result, Different World/Different Way is even the most expensive work of art by Uji Handoko that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Different World/Different Way von Uji Handoko zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.057,44) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Different World/Different Way sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Uji Handoko, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
