A top price for Ufuoma Onobrakpeya - as previously expected
In December 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art Online, which included the work Women Returning From the Farm by Ufuoma Onobrakpeya. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,216.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Women Returning From the Farm is the most expensive artwork by Ufuoma Onobrakpeya that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Women Returning From the Farm von Ufuoma Onobrakpeya zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.216,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
