Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tending Buffaloes by U Saw Maung was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 19,920.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Other works by U Saw Maung have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2018 the work Akha Dancers was auctioned for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 36,681.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tending Buffaloes von U Saw Maung kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 19.920,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von U Saw Maung konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2018 die Arbeit Akha Dancers für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 36.681,97) versteigert.
