This artwork by Tucker Smith achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. In the Majestic America: Property from an Important Western Collector, Part II auction, the work Vermillion Creek sold for USD 32,760.00 (€ 27,897.47) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tucker Smith - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rams Being Rams, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 75,126.64).

In der Auktion Majestic America: Property from an Important Western Collector, Part II wurde die Arbeit Vermillion Creek für USD 32.760,00 (€ 27.897,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tucker Smith mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rams Being Rams beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 75.126,64) versteigert wurde.
